Down the Aisle: Miller-Armbrust 8.28.21

Updated: Nov 20, 2022

Kacie and CJ's day was an occasion of refined elegance. Their love beamed through a classic black tie wedding.

Meet the Armbrust's...

"We met our freshman year in McCormick Hall at Marquette University. My floor was very into the “open doors, open floors” concept so we always had our door wide open when we were in the room. My roommate was hanging decor on our door when CJ and his roommate walked by. They eventually came in and chatted. We were often invited to CJ’s room, nicknamed “the frastle” (Frat Castle? LOL) to hangout. eventually, CJ starting helping me study for my business calc class as it was not my best class (meanwhile he was taking calc 3). I was not the best tutoree but we became fast friends none the less and could talk about anything for hours. We remained friends for almost a year and eventually started officially dating at the beginning of our sophomore year. " -Kacie Armbrust

THE PROPOSAL: "CJ’s christmas gift last year for me was a weekend at the Manoir hovey, a small boutique hotel set against a lake in French Quebec. It has a very european feel with a beautiful garden where you can have tea and wine. We had reservations at the restaurant there that evening and were planning to have wine in the garden before. But before the wine came CJ proposed! We were then greeted by champagne and an amazing dinner to celebrate. We didn’t tell anyone that night and just enjoyed every blissful minute. We had so much fun the next day facetiming all our family and friends to tell them." -Kacie Armbrust

WHEN? The Armbrust's made it official on August 28th, 2021.

WHERE? The ceremony took place at their local Parish, Elmbrook Church in Brookfield. They celebrated in style at The Atrium in Shorewood, WI, a suburb next to the east side of Milwaukee.

REFINED

Every element of Kacie and CJ's wedding was characterized by clean lines and sharp classic black tie contrast. The serendipitous interaction of pearls and gold elevated the day.

ELEGANCE

Elegance started with the dress and its pearl lined cape, a fashion move ahead of its heyday.. The black bridesmaid and groomsmen apparel created harmony for standout florals of classic eucalyptus and other palatable greens.
